VIDEO: Dolphins Wild and Free in the Big, Blue Sea
Luck was amongst the wind and waves during this couple’s sailing trip around the Snake Cayes, some of the most beautiful islands in Belize. Situated inside the Port Honduras Marine Reserve, these waters are home to a variety of marine life, including a pod of rough-toothed dolphins that made their presence known in this video. As the dolphins lingered around their boat, the pair slipped into the water.
They clearly showed us their will to create a connection, a contact. They swam around us, looked at us in the eyes and played.” ~ Florie Pilate

Listen closely as you will hear the dolphins echolocate – something they are unable to do in manmade tanks.
For those who still want to go and watch them in captivity, look attentively and analyze their behaviour on this video. You will never see them acting like this in artificial pools. They belong to the sea and that’s where anyone should meet them.” ~ Florie Pilate
