Biggest Japan Dolphins Day Yet

Whew! This year’s Japan Dolphins Day was a roaring success!
With 117 events and over 16,200 participants in cities around the world, this was certainly the biggest and best JDD ever!

The whole team here at the Dolphin Project would like to send a hearty THANK YOU to every single event organizer and participant who worked so hard to make this day what it was – inspiring, positive, effective.

Ric O’Barry was in Taiji on Sept. 1, joined by many Japanese activists. He had this to say about JDD: “We can see the change happening here in Taiji and worldwide, and it is because of the tireless efforts of the thousands of incredible activists around the globe who work to make the world a better, safer place for dolphins. Without you all, none of this would be happening. Together, we can – and are – ending dolphin abuse!”
